Another update on another event!! Tonight, at 7 – 9, we will be having mooncake making!!  It’ll take place at the Village Kitchen!  Don’t know where the Village Kitchen is?  If you go to the East Field Bus Stop that is on Hagar Dr, there will be arrows that will help you locate it!! Hope to see you there!

It will take place at the Oakes Learning Center at 7:00 pm.  There will be FREE FOOD and ICE BREAKERS!! This is also a great opportunity to meet new people and also have a nice break from all these mid-terms this week!

Where is the Oakes Learning Center?:

If you know where Oakes Cafe is, it is just up those stairs that are on the sides.

If you know where Oakes Circle is, you just into Oakes, and straight ahead, you will see a big building slightly to your right.

I am sorry that I cannot be anymore specific, BUT there will be arrows coming from the College Eight bus stop, and also the Oakes bus stop!

I hope everyone had a great time at bowling night!! I know I did! So tomorrow (aka Wednesday) is AAPI’s Community Reception, and CSA is going to be tabling at 5:00-7:00pm at the Stevenson Event Center.  Come see what other organizations are on campus, and visit us!  Here’s the facebook event for more information:

So tomorrow is our second meeting of the year, and it’s not going to be at the i-lounge this time, it’ll be at Conference Room D (Cervantes Room).  Be there at 8:00 pm SHARP!!! Don’t know where Conference Room D is? It’s where the Career Center is at.  Don’t know where the Career Center is?  It’s where the bookstore is at.  Don’t know where the bookstore is? Well, google it, because I’m going to assume most of everyone knows where the bookstore is at.  But if you really don’t know, you can email us at csaucsc@gmail.com, or leave us a facebook comment and we’ll respond as quickly as possible:

SOOOO after our meeting, we’re going to be going to the bowling alley to have some good ol’ bowling time!!  Remember to bring socks (if you’re wearing sandals/flipflops tomorrow), money ($10 is more than enough for a game and shoe rentals.), and smiles, because it’ll be fun!  Bring your friends if you want!! Don’t know where the Porter I-lounge is?
Walking from College Eight bus stop:
You walk towards Porter College, go past the dining hall, go through the residence halls, cross Porter-Kresge Rd, then walk through Kresge apartments and it will be at the end.

Driving to Porter I-lounge:
Coming from West Remote, drive through Heller Drive, then make a left onto Porter-Kresge Rd (enter Porter College) go down the road till you see the Kresge buildings on your right,and the destination will be on your right. You will see a big “I” on the building. Since parking is not free till 8:30 p.m., parking in meters are recommended. Meters are located either in front of parking lot 147, or parking lot 143. So come early! So you can get a spot!
