Established in 1999, AA/PIRC’s mission is to provide and enhance opportunities for developing leadership, building a stronger sense of community on campus and linking students to community service opportunities. AA/PIRC offers education and dialog on issues affecting Asian American/Pacific Islanders (AA/PI) toward addressing students’ multiple and diverse academic, social, cultural and other co-curricular needs.
UCSC Badminton was established in 2003 by a small group of dedicated students, whose intention was to bring badminton at UCSC from a recreational level to the collegiate level. Badminton has sent players to compete in both the NorCal Championships as well as the National Collegiate.
Since 2000, CUSN offers AA/PI students opportunities to become involved in the community, resources to enhance academic performance, and a venue in which to create student networks. CUSN is dedicated to a safe space for academic excellence and leadership development by building long and lasting communities of diverse AA/PI students.
The e² mission is to serve as a supportive, active, dynamic, & powerful space for student initiated and student run programming that addresses the low rates of recruitment, retention and graduation that historically under resourced communities face within higher education.
The mission of the FSA is to be a support organization that promotes unity and empowerment through the awareness of our diverse community. FSA works to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the Filipino and Filipino-American experience through meetings and events that explore our identity, history, and culture.
SOAR helps student organizations and government reach their potential. SOAR’s professional and experienced staff offers mentorship, leadership training, organizational development advising, and event management services to all students.
Aims to unite Vietnamese-American students at UCSC and any one else who’s interested! Together we can learn and share our rich culture, as well as being aware of issues in Vietnam and the Vietnamese community here in the US.
