On Saturday, April 4, 2009, core members of CSA took part in the 19th Annual Santa Cruz Aids Walk.
The route was made up of a 10 kilometer walk, starting from the end of the Santa Cruz wharf, stretches to Natural Bridges, and all the way back to the wharf. The walk is hosted by SCAP [Santa Cruz Aids Project], in partnership with the University of California Santa Cruz’s SHOP [Student Health Outreach & Promotion].
Thank you to the members who took the time to contribute to the effort,
CSA reached our goal and raised $360+
to fight aids as well as promote HIV-related programs and services in the city of Santa Cruz by directly funding them.
Thank you to the Aids Walk staff for the complimentary Aids Walk t-shirts as well as the Boardwalk mini golf and laser tag passes.
We enjoyed our time and wish you many more successful Aids Walk efforts to come in the future.
