There will be an abundance of FREE FOOD and this event is open to the public, no sign up required, just show up with your hungry stomach. If you are a vegetarian don’t worry we have you covered with some vegetarian friendly alternatives. There will be music, some ice breakers along with snack. CSA is hosting our 28th annual Lunar New Year Banquet early this month, on Saturday, March 1st! Doors open at 5:30PM and the event starts at 6PM and ending around 10PM. Our banquet was held at Porter Dining Hall. It was CSA’s biggest event and we appreciate all those who were able to come out and support us. We’re started to run out tickets as the event closed in. So hopefully if you enjoyed this year’s performance or you missed out on it this year you’ll buy your tickets early for next year! They are usually $10 for pre-sales and $15 at the door, but we usually sell out so I suggest you get them soon! It’s also notable that a portion of the proceeds from your ticket will go toward charity!
If you needed a reason or you’re unsure let me give you a couple of reasons why you should have gone! We are usually serving authentic Chinese food, so if you tired of dining hall food, you can have some delicious Chinese food for a meal. Along with great food you can accompany that meal than a good lineup of performances including lion dance, CSA’s very own traditional dance, fashion show, and No Access Allowed hip hop, along with performances by other organizations!
Doesn’t that look fun and great? We apologize for those who weren’t able to make it. So hopefully we’ll see you next year at our 29th Annual Banquet.
